Tonight was Katelyn's graduation from preschool. She has had a wonderful year! Her teacher, Mrs. Jeanne, is awesome and loves all those kids! Katelyn adores Mrs. Jeanne, and actually cried at bedtime tonight because she had graduated and that meant she wouldn't see Mrs. Jeanne anymore! I told her we'd try to run by and see her sometime since the preschool is right next door to the elementary school! Anyway, Katelyn had some friends in her class from last year, but she also made some new friends. Kylee has become one of Katelyn's dearest friends. They are big buddies! Tonight at graduation, Katelyn had a special part. She said The Lord's Prayer. Several weeks ago, Mrs. Jeanne had asked me if I thought she'd actually stand up in front of everyone and do it. It wasn't a matter of whether she knew it or not; it was whether she'd chicken out on stage! I told her I wasn't sure, but that we'd talk about it. Well, Katelyn said she definitely would and she's been practicing it all the time! I know I'm a bit biased, but she did an excellent job tonight!! I was so proud of her. She bowed her head and spoke into that microphone so loudly and clearly! It was so precious! Here's a slideshow from the evening:
Here's a video of the graduates walking in and then Katelyn saying her prayer.
