Chattanooga Trip - Day 1

Friday after picking Rachel up from school, we headed to Chattanooga for a mini-vacation over Memorial Day week-end. Since we were able to leave a little early from home, we got to Chattanooga in time to eat supper and then head off to our first attraction - Ruby Falls. We had never been there before, and I must admit Robert & I weren't too excited about going. But, it turned out better than we anticipated! We enjoyed our visit to Ruby Falls! There were lots of interesting formations inside the cave and the falls was really pretty. The only negative thing is that Robert is so tall he had to bend over for most of the 1 mile trek through the cave, so by the time we were done, his neck and back were hurting! But we really enjoyed our tour, enjoyed learning the history behind Ruby Falls, and afterwards, the girls enjoyed playing on the playground there.
