Each year our school does one fundraiser called Rocket Romp. It's basically a walk-a-thon. The kids get pledges and then go out and walk on the track for an hour. I like this because we don't sell anything at all - we just do this one fundraiser. They get a DJ to play some fun music while they're walking. The DJ this year got lots of the kids dancing too! They did the chicken dance, hoedown throwdown, hokey pokey, and cha cha slide. The kids loved it! The pre-k, kindergarteners, and 1st graders walked together first. Then it was the 2nd graders and the 3rd graders time to walk. Last were the 4th graders.
The girls had lots of fun walking, dancing, and hanging out with their friends!
