Fall Break - Day 4

Tuesday was a wonderful day! We started out the day by Robert & I playing some tennis, and Puddin & the girls going to the playground. It didn't take long for all of us to get hot and sweaty and ready for the pool! We spent the rest of the morning at the pool. Rachel and Katelyn played with their new friends. Soon it was time for lunch and rest. After rest time, we went to the beach again. The girls had lots of fun playing in the sand, and Rachel rode some waves too! The girls' new friends came to the beach, so that gave them someone else to play with. I think they enjoyed having someone besides just their sister to play with. We stayed at the beach until time to come in to fix supper. It was our turn to cook, and we decided on tacos, Mexican rice, and nachos and cheese. Pretty good if I do say so myself! After supper, we played some games and then headed to bed.

And yes - Rachel is MUCH better!!!

Okay - this was a funny story!  Puddin had walked out with Katelyn's boogie board and was going to float a little in the ocean.  At the edge of the water, the sand dropped off several inches.  Puddin was so intent on making sure she didn't miss the drop-off and hurt her knee, that she forgot about the waves.  A wave came and knocked her down.  She was laughing and telling us she was fine.  Katelyn came running to Puddin.  It LOOKED like she was checking to make sure she was okay.  But the second picture shows what she was really worried about - the boogie board!!!  She takes the board and leaves! We've laughed about this several times!  Katelyn said she got the board because it was keeping Puddin from getting up, but we're not so sure about that!!!

This was what we found after supper one evening - Puddin, Papa, Rachel, and Katelyn were all on the couch reading books!  What a cute picture!
