Rachel's Insomnia

Rachel has always been a super good sleeper for us, even when she was a baby. However, occasionally, she has trouble falling asleep and it really upsets her. One night she was so upset and asked me if she'd ever fall asleep again! I think if she doesn't go to sleep immediately, she starts getting a little antsy and watches the clock and gets even more upset as she sees the minutes go by. When she gets like that, we turn her clock around to where she can't see it!!!

Friday night the girls spent the night with Mamaw & Papaw. When I called from the Gladiator Games on Saturday to check how the girls were doing, Mom told me that they were doing great, but that Rachel had a little trouble going to sleep Friday night. Get this - after being in bed for about an hour and not falling asleep, Rachel went into the family room with tears on her face and told my mom "Mamaw - I can't feel my heart beating!!!" She was upset about that! Mom assured her that her heart was indeed beating!!! The things that she can think of!!!
