This week was the Science Fair at the girls' school. Rachel's project was "Why Do I Have Blue Eyes?" and Katelyn's project was "Camouflage in Nature." Both girls did a great job on their projects! When the winners were announced, Rachel won 1st place in the 3rd & 4th grade poster division! She was so excited! She will now go on to compete in the county science fair. Katelyn was very disappointed that she didn't win and initially had a hard time with Rachel winning. This makes two "fairs" in a row that Rachel has won and Katelyn hasn't even placed. She cried for a while, but then has been fine since then. Sometimes it's hard being the little sister! Of course there have been other times when I've thought it's hard to be the big sister! Katelyn did really well at the awards tonight though, and was happy for all the winners.
