One Project Completed in the New Year!

We have been talking about painting the stairwell since we painted the living room and hallway downstairs last spring, but we just never had done it. We weren't sure if we wanted to try to do it ourselves, or if we wanted to hire it done. We finally decided that we would try it ourselves, so yesterday we did it! Not only did we paint the stairwell, but we also painted the hallway upstairs. It all looks good! We painted it a brown color called Toffee Crunch. It's the same color we had used downstairs.

Last year when I hosted an Uppercase Living open house for my friend Julie, I ordered an Uppercase Living expression that I wanted to hang in the stairwell. So all this time I've been waiting to paint the stairwell so that I could finally put up the expression. Well today, I got it up! I think it looks good!
