Katelyn has had a loose tooth for a while, but it's only been the past week or two that you could really see it wiggle. She has been wiggling it daily and asking if it was ready to come out! She has been so anxious to lose her first tooth. Yesterday (Friday) she asked me when I thought it would fall out. I told her that I thought she would lose it before she went back to school on Monday. This morning she was eating breakfast - her standard chocolate poptart. After eating that, she decided she wanted a peeled apple. On her second bite I noticed she had something in her hand and she said "Oooh Mommy - what's this? Is it part of my apple?" She wasn't quite sure what to do when I told her it was her tooth!!!! But she was excited! And it didn't even bleed much at all, so it was ready to come out! She has been walking around all day with her mouth open and her tongue poking through her new hole! She is sooooooooo happy to have lost her first tooth!!! Here are a couple of pictures. (Sorry about the chocolate poptart on her teeth in the first picture!)
This is Katelyn, the apple, and the tooth. You have to look really closely to see the tooth!
