Katelyn is doing much better! She woke up Friday morning with a slight fever, but after that remained fever free the rest of the day and night! This morning the girls had basketball games and we asked Katelyn about playing. She said she thought she could play some. She's still coughing, but since she's fever free, we let her go and play some. She didn't play as much as she could, but she was able to play 4 of the 6 periods. She even scored a basket!!!
After Katelyn's game, we quickly headed over to Home Depot for the Kid's Workshop. This month's project was a car display, which in itself doesn't really interest the girls, but they wanted to go just because they enjoy making projects! So we went and quickly made our car displays and then it was back to the gym for Rachel's game. Rachel played really well and her team played really well! Rachel scored 6 points, and actually had quite a few more good looks at the basket - the shots just wouldn't fall. Her team did end up winning by 2 points. It was a very evenly matched game.
