The girls were out of school yesterday (Friday) in anticipation of bad weather. It didn't actually start snowing here until around 4:00 yesterday afternoon. It snowed a little, but definitely had a lot of sleet mixed in with it. Overnight I could hear the sleet hitting the windows. It lookes like we have about 2 inches, but it's mainly ice. We went out this morning and played in the icy snow. We started out by sledding in our yard. With the ice, the girls were sledding pretty fast! Our neighbors, Mike, Jill, Tate, and Carter, all came over and played in our yard for a while. Then we decided to walk to the church located across the street from our subdivision entrance and sled on their side hill. That worked out better since there weren't obstacles to worry about (trees, houses, swingset, fence, etc.)!
