A January Afternoon at the Zoo

Today was such a beautiful day that I decided to take advantage of our zoo passes and head up there for an hour or two! It was a wonderful day to be outside! We invited Mamaw to go along with us too. We had a great time! It doesn't matter how many times we've been to the zoo, there are certain places that the girls just have to stop and have their pictures made! It's kind of funny! I should go back and look at all of our zoo pictures from the past 6 years to see just how many pictures I have that are identical except for the ages of the girls!

This is one of the favorite picture spots

Watch out - dangerous driver! She can't even see over the steering wheel!
Rachel - keep your eyes on the road! You'd better buckle up Katelyn!
Katelyn really liked this little kookaburra and wanted her picture made with it

The rhinos - Mamaw said they needed some botox because of all their wrinkles!

Mamaw, Rachel, and Katelyn at the red panda exhibit

The prairie dogs weren't in their usual spot because they are getting a new "house." We found them in the red panda exhibit. This little guy was more interested in eating than his friend below who liked to pose for us.

The girls thought this little guy was hilarious with his little paw up against the glass.

I just think the red pandas are so cute!

It's always fascinating to look at the zebras and see how unique each one is.

Another of the favorite picture spots

The cheetah was out enjoying the sunshine this afternoon too! Lots of times he stays hidden, so we were happy to see him today.

My wild animals!

Yet another of the favorite picture spots!
