Katelyn has had 3 soccer games over the past week or so. Unfortunately, Katelyn's team is pretty much terrible! There are 5 kids on the team - 3 girls and 2 boys. The girls are definitely better than the boys. This league is for 6 and under. Rachel could've actually played in this league because she didn't turn 6 before the cutoff date, but we moved her up to the 8 and under league. Anyway, Katelyn's team is all 5 year olds and one 4 year old. They teams they've played have been mostly 6 year olds, and they've had some really good players! They don't keep score, but it's pretty obvious that Katelyn's team is getting beat like 30-3 every week. It's not the fact that they're "getting beat" but it's the fact that Katelyn's team is almost scared to get out on the field because the other teams have been so much better. Needless to say, this league doesn't do a very good job of dividing up the teams. Oh well, 3 more weeks is all we have left! Katelyn actually scored a goal Saturday before last!
