Saturday night the girls decided they wanted me to put their hair up in sponge rollers so that they would have curls for church on Sunday morning. Rachel lasted about 10 minutes after she went to bed, then she came in and asked me to take the rollers out! So much for curls for Rachel!!! Katelyn, however, was determined to sleep in hers. When she got up Sunday morning, I was surprised that they were all still in! When I took the sponge rollers out, I was a little surprised and HOW CURLY her hair was! Granted - I had used some of the smallest rollers on her hair, but still, I wasn't expecting it to be quite so curly! When she went to look at herself in the mirror, she said "My hair looks crazy!!" I tried to run my fingers through her hair a little bit to loosen up the curls, and then I actually tried to comb some of the tightest curls out! Here are some pictures from yesterday morning before heading to church. She'll have to say goodbye to her curls tonight though, since it's bath night!!

So funny! I haven't thought about sponge rollers in years. My mom used to roll my hair on Saturday night too for church on Sunday. Emily is home sick today and she is looking at your blog with me. I told her that I'd have to get some rollers and roll her hair up. :)
