During Christmas break we had a pet! Katelyn's teacher, Ms. Jeanne, asked us if we could take the class pet home during break. Their pet is a fish named Bloomer. The kids named him Bloomer because he's blue! Anyway, we agreed to keep the fish and I was just hoping and praying that Bloomer would survive! We all were kind of funny - we'd talk to him and say stuff like "Good morning Bloomer! Are you hungry Bloomer? How ya doing Bloomer?" Katelyn said we all had to take turns feeding him. Good news - Bloomer survived his stay at our house!!! (Amanda - we don't have any good fish stories like you guys did!!!!) Monday was Katelyn's first day back to school, so we took a couple of pictures before we took Bloomer back to his home.
