Last night we had our KidStuf Christmas program at church. KidStuf is the name of our "Children's Church" that goes on for the kids on Sunday mornings while the parents are in "big church." There's a cast of characters that perform skits each week. The characters are kids, but they are played by adults. The skits are usually pretty funny. Robert plays the character Tyler, and Lloyd (my brother) plays the character Gordo. For the skit they were doing for the Christmas program, it called for an additional character named Jordan. This character was Gordo's younger cousin who wanted and tried to be just like Gordo. Rachel got to play the part of Jordan - or Jordo as her character preferred to be called! She did a great job!!! We dressed her up in an outfit completely like Gordo's. In this particular skit, there were only 3 characters, Gordo, Marshall, and Jordan. Rachel did an awesome job of playing the part of Jordan! I'll try to get some pictures up soon.
The children's choir also sang 3 songs, and the older kids in the choir played the boomwhackers to Little Drummer Boy. Boomwhackers are plastic tubes of different lengths. When you hit them on your hand, they make a sound. Different length boomwhackers create different notes. Rachel got to play one of the boomwhackers. Rachel and Katelyn both sang with the choir.
