Eye Doctor Appointment

This afternoon Rachel & I both had eye appointments. She had been back in November because she didn't do so well at her 7 year check-up. At that time, the eye doctor said her vision was like 20/30, so no need to really worry about glasses at that point. He recommended we come back this summer, or earlier if she was having problems. Well the past couple of months she's started having more problems seeing things. Her teacher recently moved her to the front row so she could see better. Today was our check-up. Rachel's vision has changed. She is now 20/70 in one eye and 20/80 in the other eye. So, she tried on about 20 pairs of glasses. I let her pick them out because I want her to have some that she likes! She ended up picking out the exact pair I would've picked out for her! They are blue and it makes it blue eyes look even bluer! She is so excited about getting glasses!!!

I got new contacts and my right eye had changed a little. I can tell a difference with these new contacts! It had just been a little over a year since I had been, but I guess that's what happens when you get old!!!
