Okay, so maybe it's not a blizzard! But at least we had a little bit of the white stuff!! Schools were actually called off here for today and tomorrow because of the flu (and of course I'm sure partly due to the threat of snow). We awoke this morning to a light dusting of snow. But we made the most of what little snow we had! Our neighbors Tate (5th grade - oops - Tate has corrected me - he's in 4th grade!) & Carter (5 years old) came and asked us to come over and play with them, so we put on our snow gear and headed out to brave the elements! Tate & Carter have a small hill in their backyard that was a good sledding hill even with just a little bit of snow! The girls had so much fun! Katelyn was hilarious! She would grin and scream the whole way down the hill! Then she would get up and pull her sled back up for another trip down. Rachel had a good time too. Thanks Tate & Carter for letting us come over! We had a lot of fun!!! Here are some pictures of our morning.
Katelyn & Carter are having a great time sledding together!
If you look closely, you might be able to see that Tate actually has snow underneath his glasses! He thought that was pretty funny (and pretty cold!) and wanted me to take his picture.
Watch out for the patio Rachel!
Katelyn thinks sledding is sooooo much fun!
Katelyn was pulling her sled up the hill while making sure she held onto her snowball!!
