Sports Saturday

Saturday started out with Katelyn's basketball game. She was so excited to have so many fans there cheering her on! Mamaw & Papaw, Lloyd & Wendy, Donald & Beth, and Jessica all were in the stands cheering for Katelyn! Katelyn and her team played awesome! Katelyn showed off some of her dribbling skills, scored 4 points, and had several steals!

Next up was Rachel's soccer game. Rachel played super! She decided to show off for all of her fans too and scored three goals! Let me put that into perspective for you. She's been playing indoor soccer every Saturday since November (with a couple weeks off for Christmas) and had not scored at all. Then on Saturday she scored THREE goals! That's huge! She always plays well - it's just that she doesn't take many shots and therefore, doesn't score. She's more of a passer and a defensive player. She was so happy to have scored that many goals in one game! Way to go Rachel!!!
