Tuesday night marked the official end to Rachel's summer swim team season. The team had a swim party and awards celebration. Even though it had been rainy all day, most of the kids still got in the pool and played. Both Rachel and Katelyn played in the pool for a while before it was time to eat. After dinner was the awards celebration. Each swimmer received a medal with their name engraved on it - pretty cool!!! There was a photo slideshow set to music that was pretty nice. Rachel received her ribbons from the last two BIG meets (the Smoky Mountain Invitational and the GKAISA city meet). I think she's already looking forward to next year!
