Helping Mamaw with the Food Pantry

Mamaw & Papaw help run the food pantry at their church. Mamaw asked if the girls would like to come help her do some work. They jumped at the chance to go and help. We spent a couple of hours at the food pantry Monday morning getting all the boxes out of the storage building, cutting the box flaps off, and setting up 62 boxes. Mamaw then would pull some items off the shelf and the girls would put the food in the appropriate boxes. Some boxes would get one item while some of the boxes for the bigger families might get 2 items. The girls did a great job! We went back to Mamaw & Papaw's house for lunch. After lunch we helped finish breaking beans and then the girls wanted to go back to work at the food pantry. So we headed back out to the food pantry and worked a little more. The girls filled up the boxes with all the food that Mamaw pulled. They were good little workers and helped out a lot!!!!
