Around the 1st of May, Rachel & Katelyn helped Papaw plant his garden. (You can see the post about that by clicking here.) Katelyn planted a green bean plant in Papaw's garden that she had planted at school. Papaw hasn't had much luck with his garden this year. He even replanted the garden after it looked like he wasn't going to get anything from his first planting. But even after replanting, there's not much growing. However, Katelyn's green bean plant has survived and actually produced one bean pod! So today, Katelyn harvested her green bean and we cooked it (along with other green beans) for supper.
